Welcome to the Taunton Chess Club Website
Since 1904 we have been meeting in and around Taunton to play chess.
We have about 16 members varying in Grade from 186 to 35 and therefore
are able to cater for all levels of experience.
We currently enter one team in each of the Somerset West Chess leagues
in Divisions 1,
2 and 3.
We also have an internal club tournament. This year it is a five round
Swiss, with one round being played in each month.
We play at Taunton School (Room M4) every Tuesday from 7.30pm.
